The Proposal

What was meant to be a family trip for the holidays, turned out to be the best gift my parents ever gave me… After dinner one night my brother introduced me to this handsome, charismatic guy walking through the bar, Darrell. We only spoke for a few minutes about things like his white teeth and drinking coffee through a straw to preserve them.

Fast forward two years, a few Facebook Messages, and my brother again telling me how Darrell was such a great guy we reconnected and had an incredible first date! Fast forward another year and a half, I’m still yet to see him drink coffee through a straw unless it is iced coffee!

All kidding aside, we have had so many incredible adventures during our relationship, starting with my first camping trip, canyoneering, jet ski rides to Sunset Beach and Mohegan Sun, trips to Miami to spend time with Jared, Dana, & the kids, Mudding in the Jeep, along with my best ever birthday in Europe, introducing our families combined with bonding with each other’s friends and families, followed by Darrell’s best friend, Shakari and her husband romantically renewing their vows with all of us in Jamaica and ending with the best surprise the following day, our engagement . I’m so happy and fortunate that our paths crossed.

We love to travel and to be outdoors so naturally we wanted to find the perfect setting for our most special day. We searched and searched for the perfect location and truly believe we stumbled across the perfect paradise, The Viceroy Anguilla.

We assure you it will be worth the planes, boats, and traveling. Words can not explain how excited we are to be spending such a memorable day with our dearest family and friends!
